Here is to a year that brought us Super Bowl titillation, BALCO, Bush vs Kerry, more terrorism than ever before, the loss of several of the greats in entertainment but a dose of new hope in the industry at the same time, even more shitty reality television, a tsunami, tropical storms all up and down the Florida coast, the Pacers/Pistons riot, more BCS controversy, who knew that a cheap, plastic, yellow wristband would be all the fashion rave (not to mention that by cheap I mean $1), America’s Couple (aka Kobe and Shaq) broke up while Kobe spent more time in court than on the court, Gibson’s The Passion as well as some Desperate Housewives and let’s not forget the Queer Eye (thanks for the calendar Scott!), Martha went to jail, Boston won the series (damn it Houston, why can’t you even show up at the WS?), Tom Brokaw lied but so did the President (WMDs my ass), Atkins came and went, we ran out of flu shots, New England fooled everyone into thinking that the Pats are a dynasty (come on now, 2 rings in 3 years, call the Cowboys or the Dolphins if you want to talk about a dynasty), ah the list goes on…
